First 2D Platformer in Godot
I’m excited to share my first 2D platformer game created with Godot 4.3!
The game features 5 unique stages and a total of 100 fruits to collect.
Scoring System: Your score is calculated by multiplying the number of fruits collected by 10, and then subtracting the time taken to complete the levels. The goal is to collect as many fruits as possible while finishing each stage quickly!
Controls:
Keyboard:
A & D: Move left and right
Space: Jump
Double tap Space: Double Jump
Shift: Dash
Gamepad:
D-pad: Move left and right
A: Jump
Double tap A: Double Jump
B: Dash
Challenge yourself and aim for the highest score!
I primarily used assets from Pixel Frog: Pixel Frog website: https://pixelfrog-store.itch.io/
The music and sound effects are from free resources.
Additionally, you can download the source code to explore how the game was developed. It's a great example of what you can create using Godot.
